Sidney Royel Selby III (born May 6, 1997), better known by his stage name Desiigner, is an American rapper and a songwriter from Brooklyn, New York. He gained recognition for his single "Panda", which reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. Previously, it was sampled for the Kanye West track, titled "Pt. 2". On February 11, 2016, West announced Desiigner's signing to the GOOD Music imprint, under the aegis of Def Jam Recordings.
