Alice Mondia is a young singer and German song-writer (dual nationality Swiss-German) resident in Lugano. Polyglot artist (she speacks English, German, French and Italian), loving snow- and wakeboarding, R&B dance and the stars of the 80ties. She fell in love with Italy also because of her joyful and extroverted character.
Not only being a model in her spare time she also plays the piano and the electric bass guitar and she has an inborn attraction for being on stage, for sushi and blazers!
Already at the age of 18 she launches her first album “My way or no way” with the artistic support of Gianluigi Fazio, that immediately lead to a contract with Musikvertrieb, the main distributor of Switzerland. This entirely English album presents Alice with lively/forceful pop/rock, but it doesn’t reflect Alice’s heart of soul and unique warm tone.
While Alice attends Cebit in Hannover (2010) and the Eurosong 2011 elections, she writes new songs in collaboration with the artistic producer Renato Droghetti and the team of San Luca Sound. The new project is leaning towards more pop, clean and arrangements created in order not to dominate Alice’s soulful voice.
Alice Mondia’s second album “Scacco”, the first album for the Italian market, is now ready after the release of her new single and video “Ormai” and her first Italian single “Rabbia”.
